Today we found that the first part of our end effector was a success! I had to split the part into two in order to print it completely, since it was orginally larger than the printing bed. We'll set the other copy to print today, and hopefully we'll be good to go by the end of this week! The end effector is designed to allow us to go low enough to pick up the mobile goals. Each part will have an aluminum piece of angle (or another type, we'll see) that will enclose cones and lift the mobile goals from the underside. Juan is working to complete the lift, adding gears and motors in the most efficient spot. He should have it done by the end of this week.
